Bonjour à tous et une question: comment inscrire lors de l'édition d'une grille outro et intro? Merci pour vos réponses et bonne Pâques.

Salut,

tu as un exemple ici viewtopic.php?f=7&t=25435&start=80#p298218

It's my pleasure, danl, and thanks for noticing! My son Samuel and I have our very first gypsy guitar gig coming up (it might also be our last!) and so I've finally got around to organising our loose collection of charts, and also adding some more. It's actually been fun but a bit crazy! It's a pleasure to use the great chart-making tool here. I take screenshots and adjust them to fit my iPhone. Then I fill a photo folder with them and I can just "swipe" from side to side and go through all my charts - handy!

My first batch of charts had mistakes - mostly just where I'd forgotten to add or take away a sharp or a flat from the chord. But I've sat down twice with Samuel and we've quickly gone through everything - playing along - and corrected them. I hope I've corrected them all but I wouldn't be surprised if there were still some. We've also made some musical decisions about the best chords to use and made changes based on that. Mostly I tried to get as close as possible to Django's chords, but there were times when I thought something else either worked better or was more fun. And now I've also done a few that Django never played so they're either from a book, or from listening to a record, or often a combination of both.

I hope to do some more as time goes by but my big pre-gig project is nearly done - except for any more of my mistakes I have to fix.

I'm sorry that I haven't read or taken part in any forums (I'm not really a forum person) but I'd like to thank everyone for making this site what it is! About 6-7 years ago, when Samuel was a young teenager, we decided to try and learn some jazz guitar as we were both very interested in the music. He had a really good "feel" for the music but we had no idea how to play the Django-style voicings. More than any other website, this one gave us the information we needed! And we used the cute little charts endlessly while we practiced.

So, again thanks to everyone. The existing charts have been REALLY useful to us over the years, and I've used some of them as the basis for my "new" charts, some of which only have one or two chords different. I should have credited people as I went along but I was working so hard and fast I usually forgot. Sorry!

Also, sorry for writing in English but my French is VERY bad.

~ DC
