Playing ternary swing

Playing with swing, is before anything a question of accents. In swing music, each beat is divided in three. A beat is not made of two halves but of a triplet of which only the first and third notes are played.

Difference between non-swing binary and swing ternary

This video shows the difference between non-swing and swing, using a scale as a support. Of course, the effect is a bit exaggerated here but this is hust to give you a feel.
