Ciao a tutti. Just to say that I've bought a Boonstra guitar: cedar top and maple. Wonderful! With a very big neck, as I like very much, a super-high action, as I love....
The question is that the price is low, and the sound is wonderful: think about it before buy a super-expensive gratton.
Ciao!

Ciao, Arnaud. The sound of the Boonstra is a Favino-type, very deep and dry for the maple with a lot of basses and with very strong, but not crunchy highs. This guitar is much better thant other guitars with higher prices. It's a guitar for working-musicians. I've bought this new from a dutch musician, Tolga During, who is a friend of Ger Boonstra. Boonstra gives to him some guitars for Italy (Tolga lives in Italy). The price? 1.650 euros, and I think that is the best buy You could do with this few money.
Of course, this is not an easy guitar: the action is very high and the neck big, very big but still confortable. And the sound.....
Ciao
Enrico
