Guitare Jazz Manouche

Hi all,

My name is Harry. I am a guitarist from Tasmania, Australia. I will be travelling to Paris this Summer and am looking for some accommodation in central Paris during my stay; I'm looking to rent for 2 months: July and August 2014.

I'll be studying with Christophe Lartilluex, Samy Daussat and Antoine Boyer regularly during my stay, so having a private room where I can practice would be great.

Hi Harry,
what is your budget ?

I have a very nice 50 m2 apartment to rent 5 minutes from Montmartre (18e), near Jules Joffrin subway station. Samy Daussat's place is 20 minutes from there.
You can practice all day long (though you'll have to stop around 22:30).

Price is 2000 Euros / month

My own apartment is the next door building, so we can play anytime if you like so

Hello, If your budget is a smaller than this Ill be renting my room in a shared flat near République in August for 600 euros.

2.000 euros par mois pour un 50m2 dans le 18ème, t'as pas peur, toi !

putain encore un gratte-papier fonctionnaire (trop) bien payé qui ne sait pas quoi branler à DC... Ils ne font pas des gypsy jazz sessions dans les salons des ambassades, consulats, alliances françaises ou lycées français là-bas

For anyone looking for accommodation in Paris, I recommend using Air bnb. I found a room with a local French lady in Aubervilliers (a suburb just north of Paris, only 10 mins by train to the center) and stayed for 2 and a half months for roughly $2300 Australian. Staying in one of the outer suburbs is a good idea for saving some coin. Public transport is great so even after a late gig/jam session you can get home etc.
