Et c etait qui a Bordeaux le batteur et bassiste? On a du mal a reconnaitre celui derriere Joseph et Rostaing et il manque un costard blanc pour faire un quintette.
Je crois qu ils avaient une chanteuse avec eux aussi nan (Nila Cara?)

Daidy Davis-Boyer on the left but I'm not sure about the guy behind and to the right of Joseph. It could be a dreadful shot of Pierre Fouad. The faces can get very distorted in these old newsprint type photos.

C etait deja Andre Jourdan et Jean Storne avec eux a Bordeaux en 1940. Je croyais que c etait le lineup de 1943 a Beziers?
A l Olympia de Bordeaux en novembre 1940 le quintette jouait avec Nila Cara d apres la chronologie d Anne Legrand.

That guy is not Storne. He has far too much hair on the front top. It could possibly be a very distorted Jourdan but it does not really look like anyone we have ever seen before. These poor quality newsprint pictures can drive you made trying to identify people. But still a good find Marc. :aclame:

In 1940 I was wrong for Fouad as they still were playing together regularly and the bass player was Tony Rovira and there was Joseph too...

They played for moreless one week in the Olympia Theater of Bordeaux from Oct 31 to Nov 6 two times a day 14.45 and 20.15 and three times on Friday and Sunday (another set at 16.20)

Ann Legrand says it is Fouad next to Daidy not wearing a white jacket. It could be I suppose. The other guy in the white jacket does not look much like any photo I have ever seen of Rovira but, again, I guess it could be.

I think that Fouad hardly could not have been white dressed but he looks like him.

For Rovira here's a trial to see if it matches :

That definitely looks like Josselin and it would be a real stretch to say the other guy looks like Rovira.
