Arpeggios on minor chords

Minor chords are 3-note chords which are not used in Manouche (or very scarcely). Chords are displayed here to help, especially those guitarists like me who are used to playing in another style (pop, rock, etc...) and who can easily use them as references. On the other hand, minor arpeggios are often used.

Minor chord with the rool on the lower E string

on two octaves and one note to be played in 8ths or 16ths (in Am here)

On three octaves to be played in triplets (in Gm here).

The tough point is on the descending part: the first note of the second measure is played with the middle finger.

Minor chord with the root on the A string

On two octaves to be played in triplets and only ascendingly (in Dm here)

Broken arpeggios

A good exercise that can be applied to all kinds of arpeggios and that can be used as such in choruses from time to time.

By groups of three notes in triplets (in Am here)
