To make things clear right from the start, I want to emphasize that the resources available on this site reflect my musical level, which is what it is and not more. I do not teach music in my life, and I only started learning Manouche in July last year, so I'm quite a rookie in that respect even though I spend a lot of energy in learning. There might even be mistakes in which case I'll be more than happy if someone could pinpoint them sending e an email at caroffyhotmail.com. You can also contact me if you'd like me to develop an existing topic, or to talk about something which is obviously not there already. If I can do it, then I'll do it. Also, note that the contents of this site are being updated often, as I plan to add new exercises, licks and topics here and there.

As always, progress commes with regular work and by sticking to a good method. I particularly recommend working with a metronome, and above all not playing faster than one can (I know it's sometiomes hard to resist). If the exercises look too difficult, don't get disheartened, just go on working slowly. It's very likely we won't become Biréli or Angelo, so in essence, play happy!
