Andrew Lawrence a écrit:Greetings Django Fans and Friends!

Here's your annual "heads up" that the Django in June website has been updated for 2013 and we are now ready to take registrations for our full-immersion Django Camp, June 18-23. Please come join us as we celebrate our 10th anniversary!

The first music camp in the US dedicated entirely to the Gypsy jazz tradition, Django Camp represents an unparalleled opportunity to both kick back and dig deep with expert teachers and enthusiastic students of the style. Whether you want to build a strong Gypsy jazz foundation or add another floor above the one you've got, we offer guidance, inspiration and camaraderie at a depth you won't find anywhere else this side of the Atlantic.

Our instructional program -- for players of guitar, violin, accordion, mandolin, bass and reed players -- is offered by the same concert artists you'll enjoy on the mainstage later in the week. This year they include...

On guitar, Tcha Limberger, Adrien Moignard, Gonzalo Bergara, Rino van Hooijdonk, Jacopo Martini, Jeff Radaich, Denis Chang, Michael Horowitz, Adrian Holovaty, Christine Tassan and Jack Soref.
On violin, Tcha Limberger and Ben Powell.
On mandolin...we're still firming up the details
Supporting everyone -- including you -- Jeremie Arranger on bass.
On accordion, Dallas Vietty will be back and we expect to hire a second instructor.
Reed players, please note that Tcha Limberger is an accomplished clarinetist. Great opportunity!
For more information on all of these artists, please visit the Artists and Staff page of djangoinjune.com:
http://www.djangoinjune.com/For_musicia ... _Staff.htm

You'll find all the details you need at our website, but here are just a few important bits:

The dates for this year are June 18-23rd. (Tuesday evening through Sunday noon, with an early arrival option on Monday the 17th.)
The event is held on the beautiful Smith College campus in Northampton, Massachusetts.
Early bird tuition rates are in effect. The cost goes up monthly after February. Registration info is here.
Rooms in the dorm are private, so when your blistered fingers are done for the day, you rest in peace and comfort.
Meals are also offered on-site.
Most of our instructional program is organized into 3 or 4 broad level of ability, novice to advanced. If you love this music, we've got you covered.
And that's about it for now. Let me know if you have questions. I so look forward to sharing yet another incredible week of music with you.

Allons-y mes amis!
